Opportunity followed efficiency in a huge way for Achane in 2024, as the 2nd-year Dolphins RB followed up his promising 2023 season by doubling his carries (from 103 in 2023 to 203 in 2024) and nearly tripling his receptions (from 27 to 78). That role in the receiving game made him a monster in PPR formats, and if he's able to maintain anything close to that workload in 2025, his bottom line should be securely within the top-15 at the position with room for top-5 upside (which he achieved last year). Moving into 2025, though, the Dolphins likely want to get their top two targets, Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, back on track, as both pass catchers registered career-lows in single-season total targets since both players joined the team. With Jonnu Smith also in the fold (for now), target competition is heavy in Miami - though none offer the ability out of the backfield that Achane does. As a result, Achane should land at the top of the running back receiving ranks by the end of the 2025, and be drafted with confidence at his largely affordable RB7 price in drafts.
