Following a disappointing two-year stint with the Cardinals that saw QB Kyler Murray miss 16 of a potential 34 starts since 2022, Hollywood enters his first year in Kansas City as part of a three-headed monster in the Chiefs WR room. It's a departure from what the speedster is used to dealing with considering that Brown was expected to operate as both the Ravens' and Cardinals' clear-cut WR1 when he was with each team; Rashee Rice, 2024 1st-rounder Xavier Worthy and Travis Kelce all figure to be stiff target competition this season for Brown, who ranked just 41st in targets per route run (0.22) in 2023. Brown was also the second target in the Cardinals offense once Kyler Murray returned in Week 10, posting just a 16.9% target share compared to TE Trey McBride's 26.1%, suggesting that Brown could reasonably be knocked down the pecking order a few pegs with multiple quality receivers in the Chiefs passing game. However, with varying levels of drama surrounding Rashee Rice and Xavier Worthy, Brown could end up with a No. 2 or 3 role in Patrick Mahomes' target distribution early on in the year, which could continue throughout the entirety of the regular season. Rice is likely to be suspended a handful of games after an eventful offseason, while Xavier Worthy is reportedly already dealing with a hamstring injury early in practices. If one or both of them would miss time in 2024, Brown could be able to get by as a fantasy WR3 in a Chiefs offense that passed the ball at the second-highest rate in the league last year. Overall, Hollywood has been a solid target earner for his entire career, and this type of QB upgrade can push him over the top to his WR2 ceiling at a low-end WR3 price tag. There is a world where he's the most valuable Chiefs WR this season.
