Believe it or not, Patrick Mahomes finished as a low-end QB1 last year. Not something we're used to after a QB2 finish in 2022, a QB5 finish in 2021, and a QB1 finish in 2020. This year, however, we might be in for a treat. Not only does he have Travis Kelce, but he now has a better deep threat than he's had over the last couple of seasons in Hollywood Brown. Rashee Rice should still be available for most of the season, and Xavier Worthy should provide some play making ability as well. Mahomes wasn't happy with the state of the offense last season, so I'm expecting a bounce back for the perennial All-Pro. While he doesn't have the rushing upside of the other QBs in the Top Tier of fantasy QBs, he does have some sneaky rushing ability as he was 6th in rushing yards/game. Until last year, Mahomes has had 2+ rushing TDs in each of his first five years starting, so we could see a bounceback in that department, as well. More weapons should mean more fantasy points per Mahomes this year.
