Baker should remain a solid QB2, but nothing more than that. One thing to note is that his resurgence last year came with who we think is a QB whisperer in Dave Canales, who's now gone to Carolina. When he left Geno Smith, we saw a bit of a fall-off from him. He props QBs up, he leaves, and it could come crashing down. Not saying that will happen, but it's possible - that's TBD. New offense for Baker this year, but the good news is that he still has TD-magnet Mike Evans and now-back-to-the-slot-finally Chris Godwin as his primary targets. Rookie WR Jalen McMillan is also making some waves in camp as creating legit rapport with Baker as the third receiver. Solid mid to back-end QB2 in 2024.
