Fantasy football is a game where small choices can yield big results. As we navigate into Week 4, it's time to consider which waiver wire pickups could be season-altering additions to your team. Here's an in-depth look at the top waiver wire options for this week, complete with FAAB percentages.

My Top Waiver Wire Targets:

1. Devon Achane (RB) - 100% FAAB

Outlook: Achane's opportunity to become the lead back in Miami’s offense makes him a tantalizing high-risk, high-reward option. Concerns about backfield sharing with Raheem Mosotert and Jeff Wilson linger, but Achane has demonstrated game-breaking ability, making him a potential league-winner. He's an all-in FAAB candidate.

2. Tank Dell (WR) - 25% FAAB

Outlook: Over the past two games, Dell has emerged as a consistent receiving option in the Houston Texans offense. With CJ Stroud playing exceptionally well for a rookie QB, Dell’s big-play ability shines through. He's now a credible WR3, especially in an offense passing at a 67% rate.

3. Josh Palmer (WR) - 15-20% FAAB

Outlook: Palmer's immediate value is driven by the injury to Mike Williams. Prior to Williams' injury, Quentin Johnston seemed to be in competition with Palmer, but Palmer secured almost all snaps post-injury. This puts him in the driver's seat for receiving opportunities alongside Keenan Allen, making him a more immediate option than Johnston.

4. Adam Thielen (WR) - 10-15% FAAB

Outlook: With a target share hovering around 25-29% in the last two weeks, Thielen has re-established himself as a reliable receiving option. His transition to the slot has further amplified his production. Whether it's Andy Dalton or Bryce Young at QB, Thielen is the go-to guy in his offense.

5. Quentin Johnston (WR) - 10-25% FAAB (Long-term)

Outlook: Johnston has the athleticism and talent to break out, but his route participation has been less consistent than Palmer's. While he may require patience, he’s worth stashing for his high upside in the long term, especially if the team starts using more 11 personnel sets.

6. Matt Breida (RB) - 5-10% FAAB (Short-term)

Outlook: With Saquon Barkley sidelined due to a high ankle sprain, Breida has a short window to establish himself as the Giants' primary back. His 80% snap share in Week 1 and route versatility make him a safe bet for significant involvement against the Seahawks in Week 4.

7. Romeo Doubs (WR) - 5% FAAB

Outlook: The Packers have been rolling, and Doubs could be a valuable asset especially with Christian Watson's status uncertain. He’s been targeted on 31% of Jordan Love’s end zone throws and leads the team in air yards, making him a potential flex play for the short term.

8. Roschon Johnson (RB) - 5% FAAB (Long-term)

Outlook: Johnson was heavily involved in the last game due to negative game script, challenging Khalil Herbert for the lead role in Chicago's backfield. If you can afford to be patient, Johnson has the skill set and opportunity to potentially emerge as the Bears' top RB option.

9. Luke Musgrave (TE) - 5-10% FAAB

Outlook: Musgrave ranks 6th in route participation among all TEs and has maintained a 16% target share this season. He had his best performance in Week 3, grabbing six catches on eight targets. If you need a TE, Musgrave is a dependable choice.

10. Marvin Mims (WR) - 5% FAAB

Outlook: Mims has flashed explosive playmaking ability in limited opportunities. His aDot is a staggering 25 yards, indicating his big-play potential. Currently stuck behind Brandon Johnson on the depth chart, he could ascend quickly if given more snaps. A worthy long-term stash.
