I wouldn't expect much of a role change for Montgomery this year. There might be a slight downtick in opportunity with Jahmyr Gibbs likely getting more work this season, but the goal line role still likely belongs to Montgomery. It was successful with him and Jamaal Williams, and there's no reason to change suit now, especially since there has been no change in offensive system. Montgomery's floor is a little lower than last year, but expect the Lions to offense to continue to depend on the run and be one of the top scoring offenses in football.
