White has a new OC in Liam Coen this year, who comes from the Sean McVay coaching tree - which is great. But it's worth nothing that the offense can change a bit, although on the surface Coen's offense isn't a whole lot different than Dave Canales' offense. Under Canales last year, White was 6th among all RBs in weighted opportunity and finished as the RB9 in PPR FPPG. White wasn't playing the best offensive line last year, but he didn't do himself many favors on the efficiency front, which tends to isolate offensive line for the most part. Among the 23 RBs with 200+ carries last year, White finished dead last in missed tackles forced/attempt, yards after contact/attempt, and rushing yards over expectation. That's not the trifecta you want as a RB. While the volume was amazing last year, it was really the main factor as to why White was able to do his thing for fantasy. It's hard for me to click on that draft button next to his name and only have to depend on volume - because a new OC can choose to take touches away from a less efficient rusher. We haven't seen a whole lot of camp talk about Bucky Irving, but it does seem like he's the clear 2 behind White at this point.
