Maybe this will be a kick in the rear that the Jaguars needed to start getting the ball to underperforming WRs Brian Thomas Jr. and Travis Hunter more moving forward. Not including his partial game on Monday, Strange was commanding a 17% target share from Trevor Lawrence – just ahead of Travis Hunter's 16% share and behind Thomas Jr.’s 24%. Without Strange in the lineup, TE Hunter Long stepped up with a 63% route participation but earned just a 4% target share, so there are better options available elsewhere for anyone who was streaming Strange before he went down. Ideally, the displaced targets land in the hands of the two star receivers in Thomas and Hunter; however, Lawrence has topped 225 passing yards just once this season, and the passing game has been a disappointment so far this season, especially with Liam Coen at the helm. With Strange out, no immediate upgrades for the Jags' pass catchers are necessary, but it’s worth keeping a close eye on how the target distribution shakes out next week against the Seahawks without him in the lineup.
