Mark Andrews Expected to Miss Week 1 with Quad Injury

The tight end position is about to be in shambles in Week 1. With Travis Kelce and Mark Andrews having already missed or being slated to miss the season opener, plus George Kittle and Darren Waller being questionable in their respective games, waiver wire warriors are about to have a hay day with back-end TE1s filling starting lineups across the board. With Andrews out, there’s a possibility that Zay Flowers sees a very high target share – and J.K. Dobbins could potentially become part of the mix if Todd Monken truly wants to make good on his promises this offseason about getting him the ball through the air.
